CED LOGO

CED offers several benefit programs to its employees. The brief listing which follows is intended to be informational only; the plan documents which govern these benefit programs describe the specific provisions in detail.

Participation in most of the group benefit plans begins on the first day of the month following one month of service, except as other wise noted, and provided completed enrollment cards have been received at the Corporate Offices.

Health care: Medical and dental health care benefits are available to the employee and his or her eligible dependents. This plan is designed to reimburse the employee and covered family members for certain medical and dental expenses. The current health care plan booklet provides a schedule of benefits and limitations. Certain coverage under this plan may require employees to contribute to all or part of its cost.
Voluntary Accident Insurance: This plan is designed to pay a benefit in the event of the employee's accidental death or dismemberment. The premium for this coverage is paid by the employee. The current plan booklet provides a schedule of benefits and premiums.
Life Insurance: A basic amount of life insurance is provided by CED. The current plan booklet provides a schedule of benefits and limitations.
Long-Term Disability: This plan is designed to provide a partial continuation of an employee's income in the event he or she becomes totally disabled. The waiting period for entry into this plan is 25 months of continuous full-time service. The entire cost of the plan is paid by CED. The current plan booklet provides a description of the benefits and limitations.
Pension Plan: Enrollment is automatic after one full year of continuous service. The entire cost of the plan is paid by CED. An employee is vested in this plan after five years of continuous service. The current plan booklet provides a description of the benefits and limitations.
401K Plan: Enrollment is optional. An employee can participate in the plan after one full year of service. Employees can defer 1% - 15% of their annual W-2 earnings on a pre-tax basis.
Vacation: Hours accrue according to current policy.
Sick Leave: Hours accrue according to current policy.
Holidays: Dates vary by geographical location.
